Adjustable Anti-shock All Terrain Nordic Walking Poles w/ Mesh Carry Sack
Description
"Nordic Walking" is a new trend that has seized Northern-European countries and is taking hold in the US. It began in the 30's as a summer training method for long distance Nordic skiers and is 40% - 50% more effective than conventional walking. It is an ideal method of training the whole body for both young and old.
These aluminium alloy All Terrain Poles (ATP) each weighing 220g are German (GS) safety approved (by geprufte Sicherheit). The sticks can be adjusted and locked to lengths ranging from 31.5" (80cm) to 53" (135cm) and are marked in increments of 1cm. Whether you plan to use them for pavement walking, roller blading, snow shoeing, trail hiking or cross country skiing these lightweight anti-shock poles will help you get a better, more effective workout!
Compare these poles to LEKI's "Supreme" model which retails for $99.95. These poles are almost 2 ounces lighter, have a longer adjustable range are made of the same materials and include similar accessories. You won't be disappointed especially at this price!
Take a look at a review written by a LL Bean Employee who bought 2 sets!
"Hello,
I just wanted to let you know how happy I was to find there Adjustable Nordic Walking Poles. I work for L.L.Bean and once a year they do a Outdoor Exploratory Day. This year I went into Nordic Walking. I loved it. My body hurt for four days.
I also have an 8 year old daughter that I knew she would want to do it as well. The only problem with this is the poles for her were only one size and I didn't want to have to buy another set for her next year and the year after and the year after. Even with a discount, it was more money that I wanted to fork out now or later.
When I found that these were adjustable, that was my answer. I must say I will be working my way into them very gradually though.
Thank you so much.
Lisa"
